Mental issues
Hello friends, lovers and freelancers, welcome to my blog account where we chill and unpack and most importantly know better about issues that affect us positively and negatively in our daily lives.
Mental disorder is an internal issue that causes depression when not dealt with.Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.
From what I've learned mental health can affect daily lives from relationships to physical health. However, this link works in the other direction. Factors in people’s lives, interpersonal connections, and physical factors can all contribute to mental health disruptions.Looking after mental health can preserve a person’s ability to enjoy life. Doing this involves reaching a balance between life activities, responsibilities, and efforts to achieve psychological resilience.Conditions such as stress, depression, and anxiety can all affect mental health and disrupt a person’s routine.Although the term mental health is in common use, many conditions that doctors recognize as psychological disorders have physical roots.
I personally think it's high time for us as a black community to start learning more about issues like these and educate our parents about mental issues, depression and of course anxiety because they still don't understand why we end up killing ourselves because honestly we all suffer from different things that we don't even talk about.
Please feel free to share your thoughts and drop a comment ☺ 😊
I totally agree, most people do not understand how mental well being is important
ReplyDeleteAnd I feel like that has to change for good.
ReplyDeleteI think the education on mental health would work more better if passed to our black parents as the contributors of a lot of suicides on teens as well as depression due to their lack of communication skills towards issues affecting their kids, allowing their kids to freely express their feelings without them being hard and thinking for a child to be well groomed a parent should be hard on their kids.
ReplyDeleteVery informative......please keep sharing
